Ariel Gail

Professor Gail S. Goodman teaches psychology at the University of California Davis. She also serves as the director of the Center for Public Policy Research. The university is renowned for her pioneering the science of the eyewitness memory of children and using child victims to serve as witnesses in court. Professor Goodman is the author of numerous papers and grants to her name and is the recipient of a variety of international and national prizes. She has offered advice on policy and research to numerous agencies and government departments around the globe. She currently acts as a advisor to the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center in Sacramento County Child Protective Services (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center). She is a Fellow of both the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association, (Divisions Experimental Psychology Developmental Psychology Society for Child and Family Policy and Practice American Psychology Law Society Psychology of Women and Traumatic Stress 56). Professor Goodman is also a member of Psychonomics Society, the American Professional Society for the Abuse of Children and International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She was president of American Psychological Association's Developmental Psychology Division division, Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Society for Child and Family Policies and Practice.
